The "Department of Supernatural Energies" was born of joke email in response to a friend who requested "good juju" before a job interview. Months later, when trying to come up with a "wrapper" for something to send in lieu of a traditional holiday card, I remembered it... and, well, here we are.

I almost talked myself out of sending the original packet after I'd finished it - I'm quite glad I didn't. As responses... slowly... trickled in, I was continually inspired and my original goal of challenging myself to create something new was ever extended. In the end, every package had at least 17 elements and the total cost of materials alone was well over $20 per Respondent.

I have absolutely no regrets and certainly had no expectation whatsoever that anyone would want to contribute financially. The energy I've sent and received back in kind is plenty reward enough and I hope that all who receive it accept it as a bona fide gift.

And yet... I was asked by folks I harangued into proofreading if they could, so if you feel strongly that you should, I am happy to receive it.
